Words of Wisdom (a flashback)
This dates to May 2000, but it's just too good to not include in my blog.

This morning, 6 AM on a Monday:
Me, packing my backpack: "I feel sort of down, sort of sad, maybe it's just Monday morning, maybe it's the let down after a holiday, maybe I'm sick and tired of the book issues, maybe it's just the passing days of my life, getting older, maybe it's hormones. . . not sure, but I feel a little blue."
Tammy: "The problem is that you did not eat chocolate cake for breakfast" (wiping chocolate crumbs from her chin).
